This train used to run upto Agra (Agra Fort) in the old days. What route did it use then? Can someone elaborate on the history of this train?

It was all MG back then, right? All of this route is back on Broad Gauge now, right? I was reading an old review on IRFCA from 2004 where the user described his experiences on MG Gokul express and the MG platforms of Acchnera and Mathura. He also reminisced as to how Achnera was a big junction back in the steam and meter gauge era.
It was MG surely till 2003 and upto Acchnera, MG line was upto 2009.
All NER line in the west of Kanpur were MG.

That means the Kasganj stretch was also MG. Also, the Marudhar express was a MG train once?
Yes, even Kasganj Farrukhabad Kanpur was also MG.
Marudhar Express and Jodhpur Howrah Express were used to run via Sawai Madhopur, Bayana.
