12730 NED-PUNE Express will run with new TT from 1st Jan 2022 as informed by MoS RM Mr. Raosaheb Danve. Around 06:30 PM departure from Nanded, 10:30 PM arrival at Aurangabad and around 0600 AM arrival at PUNE. Return TT will mostly be unchanged. Reservations already suspended for train.

Bus lobby is going to prevent it from taking place. Bus lobby is very strong in Marathwada. See the timings of Panvel-Pune express. Classic example of influence of busy lobby. God save our country from private bus pollution which is rising substantially in Pune.
Reminds me a lot of the Bombay-Bangalore section. Only two daily trains connections two of India's biggest cities and only one dedicated one. And the average speed isn't great either. Many speculate it's due to pressure from the bus lobby to keep that stretch in a shitty condition.
Initially there were 3 daily trains in Mumbai Bangalore route. Udyan was of SWR. Now all are CR trains. DWR just washed off their hands.
So one got extended to CBE, other went to TEN and PDY on alternate days.
