Treatment to unreserved passengers has literally been like that of cattle's for past few years.
Post lhbfication, rakes do not have any set standard pattern for placing GS coaches. Some rakes do have all GS and SLR at one end with EOG and reserved coaches on other end; while some rakes have one-two coaches distributed at both ends. This leads to utter chaos at stations with less halt time. And they are left with no option other than to barge into reserved coaches.
Do a set standard for placing GS coaches be there...

Much needed, old ICF coach pattern was very good where passengers were aware with GS coach positioning in both side. In the name of LHB, Railways has completely played with poor passengers and now they need to travel in Reserved classes and Pay fine.
Considering the policy Indian Railways has made nowadays, it has become absolutely necessary.
Nowadays CC of trains are really confusing. People are seen running from one end to other.

In addition to that every busy route should have atleast one Antyoday or Jan Sadharan type train on daily basis. Howrah Delhi, CSMT NZM, Bihar to south etc. should be introduced.
Given the diminishing number of GS coaches in regular trains, it becomes quite challenging to accomodate if you find the sole GS coach packed to brim with passengers, and you are unable to run upto the other end within the stoppage time.
In this situation, all GS and SLR coaches at one end connected with internal pathway will help, attaching the EOG to the AC coach end.
Only drawback is communicating to the travelers the end at which these gs/slr coaches would be present, loco end or tail end.
