After SBC-BGM being double and almost electrified line, SBC-UBL route having wonder mps an ICF train with EMD can do it in 6:00-6:30hrs, from UBL-MRJ the section needs to be speeded up as I've not seen any single train even Premium Sampark kranti doesn't have 60avg speed, so if this stretch along with MRJ-PUNE stretch getting some faster run then even this stretch SBC-UBL-MRJ-PUNE-CSMT can be done in 18-20hrs.

Yeah I'm not talking about diverting but the Chalukya express route too available for faster connectivity, so railways can think. about faster connectivity on other routes too, also I commented bcs you mentioned about bus lobby on this route. No worries and yeah sry if I commented anything wrong.
