I have a ticket booked for 29th Jan.The rail hikes will be levied from 21st Jan.
Will i have to pay the difference?

Because in previous fare hike in 1999 have seen TTE doing so-he was collecting the fares and issuing EFT-so the trend may be continued
I think whether or not he will have to pay the extra fare will become known with some official announcement in this regard.
Yes, when the fare was hiked last time (for AC Class) TTEs were collecting the fare difference. But when they started levying Service Tax , it was for bookings done from that effective date only.
