Yes, RM could have announced (or change the route of the already announced one) a bi-weekly train between MAQ-KCG (via SA-KJM-KRNT) , which could have saved another 2, SBC-MAQ bi-weekly (via PGT-SA) and SC-YPR tri-weekly, which were announced today.
