We all know that railways has started GC on Ratlam -Indore section first, but just few facts:
RTM - INDM = 118 km, shortest route by BG currently is 176km, By doing GC It Saves 58 km.
INDM - KNW = 142 km, shortest route by BG currently is (217km + 275km) ( INDB-BPL + BPL-KNW), By GC on this section Saves 350km.

anyways they will have to work together some point of time..to me looks like zone politics..bcz..once INDM-KNW conversion is done, some CR route trains will ply and Indore's revenue share which is very high in WR will go to CR and other regions. I bet the conversion from MHOW-KNW will take years for the same reason.
