MailguardSG25~ 24054 blog postsThough off-topic I hope to find an Ans from our esteemed members....From IMD Official Website I found just now that though Max temperature in most of cities in Rajasthan(Barmer,Bikaner,Jaisalmer) is around 37 degrees C,but most of the cities in the Alluvial Gangetic Plains(like Kanpur,Allahabad,Varanasi,Patna,Malda & Kolkata) are having max temperature around 42-44 degrees C.What may be the reason behind this...??? Why such harsh weather in mid-April?

Haan Broad Gauge** ji...thats my concern...the region where Normal Temp should be 32,if its now 44...then in Barmer it should be around 55 degrees...what's the specific reason for such loo-wave in Bihar & Gangetic W.B.?
Bro! Deserts are also very hot. But they become very cold in the night. Both these have the same reason, Sand.

Its because of the geography. All these cities come under The Great Indo-Gangetic plain. The temperature in Southern India is more than this and climate remains hotter throughout the year.
