Though off-topic I hope to find an Ans from our esteemed members....From IMD Official Website I found just now that though Max temperature in most of cities in Rajasthan(Barmer,Bikaner,Jaisalmer) is around 37 degrees C,but most of the cities in the Alluvial Gangetic Plains(like Kanpur,Allahabad,Varanasi,Patna,Malda & Kolkata) are having max temperature around 42-44 degrees C.What may be the reason behind this...??? Why such harsh weather in mid-April?

Bro! Deserts are also very hot. But they become very cold in the night. Both these have the same reason, Sand.
