Ratlam is a larger junction on NDLS BCT route and a point for people from Bhilwara, Chittor, Banswara, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Pratapgarh etc to reach Mumbai. However, alloted quota to Ratlam in various trains in quite low and one donot find availblity in trains which are of suitable timings to reach Mumbai. For examples, three overnight trains, Golden Temple, Avanitka and Jaipur Bombay put together have about 217 seats in Sleeper, but all are in RLWL or PQWL and are shared with other larger boarding points like Kota, Nagda etc.

I would say attach a Slip to Ratlam Ajmer Exps. A train from Indore can start at 19:00 odd hours for Mumbai, once gauge conversion of Indore-Fatehabad-Ratlam Section. This Slip can be attached to Indore train at Ratlam.
yea, thats a superb thought.. but already 12962 - avantika express is running more or less same time from indore.. i would rather suggest a dedicated ajmer-bandra superfast on same time slot of ajmer-ratlam, with general quota for ratlam-bandra passengers! :)

Railway can easily use Ajmer Delhi duranto express rake as Ajmer ratlam janshatbdi express , Duranto run by weekly and five day this train rake is useless so railway can easily use this train rake as Janshatbdi express between Ajmer to Ratlam , time should be early morning from Ajmer like 6 AM and return time from Ratlam should be 1 pm.
