Can anyone update about railway line between Goghat to Maynapur ? Any solution come out at Bhabadighi slot? Construction work has started or not ?
"The main work Tarakeshwar – Bishnupur (82.47 Km) – New line - Work was sanctioned in 2000-01 and cost of the project is Rs 480.68 Cr. Tarkeshwar –Goghat (33.94 km) New line – Commissioned on 06.03.2016 Mayonapur – Bishnupur (22.68 km) New line – Commissioned on 16.09.2012 Section Goghat – Kamarpukur (5.50 km) was completed during 2018-19 except 950m stretch where the work is stopped by local villagers at Bhabadighi pond for last 4-5 years. State Govt. is pursued repeatedly. Balance section (a) Kamarpukur – Jairambati (3.30 KM) falling in Hoogly District. Land in 0.755 Km handed over to Rly and balance 2.545 Km land acquisition done but compensation has not been distributed. Balance in 17.05 Km entire land is handed over to Railway. (b) Mayonapur – Jairambati (excl) falling Bankura district and Land Acquisition has been completed recently and handed over to Rly. Now Tender for the section Mayonapur –...

Yes you are very true that this will be the shortest route for Bankura/Purulia region from Howrah and once the Express Rain will start running from Howrah to Bishnupur can reach by 2 hr 15 minutes and Bankura by 2hr 40 minutes and Purulia 3 hr 15 minutes. We pray our dreams will come to a reality very soon. We pray to God and Good Luck to all of us!

Goghat to Maynapur Rail Route: When this rail route will be completed? When the Pond issue on Rail Route at Bhabadighi will be sorted out? When people can go to Joyrambati, Kamarpukur by Train? " Kobe je phurabe hai ei path chawa" ???????
Status of Rail Route between Bishnupur to Arambag as on 30/09/2019 as per the project summary report by Eastern Railway.

RANCHI: The capital city of Jharkhand to soon meet its neighbour metrocity through the shortest route. DRM HWH on Saturday has confirmed the status of work in Arambagh-Bishnupur new line. Express and passenger trains especially from Purulia and few more from Ranchi will find its way through Arambagh. The speed limit in VSU-AMBG section is set to 100 kmph for express/passenger trains and 80 kmph for EMUs. Limit will be increased to 110 kmph in consecutive years after inauguration.
Track laying is in full force between Maynapur and Kamarpukur stations under VSU-AMBG section. Once this completes by next year, it will open new gateway to decongest other routes. Between Maynapur and Goghat in HWH/ER lies the gap to be filled in a...

Dear Sir many many thanks for sharing the status. Sir will be so much grateful if give more details about the rail route construction between Goghat to Maynapur:- Q1. How much KM of rail line is laid from Kamarpur towards Maynapur. Q2. How much km rail line laid from Maynapur to wards Kamarpukur. Q3. Is it double line or single line? Q4. Any target date has bee fixed for completion? Q5. From Goghat to maynapur is the "Bhaba Dighi issue shorted out? When the construction work will start?

Thank you very much sir for updating. We are eagerly looking for this rail route completion of construction and to see trains are running at the earliest. Will be very much grateful to you if keep on updating once the work has started on Bhaba Dighi area.
