First LHB ride:
Epilogue
Not sure where to begin with but being busy with work and other stuff i wasn't even sure before 60mins of this trip that i would be taking it. Tracking it a day before on Indiarailinfo and taking on it next day surely was an action packed adventure. Lots of twists and turns come along that the train gets diverted running low on cash and even my connection to next train was pretty exciting, i'll continue with photos and narration if everyone's interested :)

Part 5:The Journey: Unscheduled halts speed and a planned friend meet
In part 2 we overtook shm ltt express in Nagpur owing to its early running, a light jerk and wag sprinted out of junction and crossed ajni at 60kmph, we were running fast till butibori, where my train had its first unscheduled halt. After a touch and go halt i spotted a RTM WDM3A with BCNA cars GT was leading and making our train go slow another frieght was joined us from umred side and we had a 5 min parallel run due to slowdown and we overtook it, after another unscheduled halt at sindi where 3 frieghts were waiting we overtook another one here, a curve came where i saw

a blue wag7 leading my train and was cursing icms for wrong update. Still G7 took on and after 10-12kms we were flying off at MPS(100km/h) crossed primo supremo at 220km/h and AP at 210km/h running back to back after crossing a dozen frieghts running at split intervals of 5 mins we reached sewagram where my train had a slow down and i saw the grand sewagram curve, being a bhakt i tried to caputure it but my efforts went in vain as soon as my coach had recieved a jerk due to braking. Here admin awes and other fellow railfan friends were constantly in touch and we were betting if train would take an unscheduled halt at Wardha Jn, indeed it took and i lost. The train then rushed upto dhamangaon where we overtook another frieght from loop, and had an unscheduled halt at Malkhed because of trailing some. The train did got a nice beating till now but still running, the sun was scorching to the max and doorplating was getting difficult. so i decided to enjoy AC and rested.
Just before badnera another frieght was given a go ahead and we waited at outer for 10mins where a GMO G9 boxn crossed at full speed , uptill now we had crossed around 40 frieghts and overtook 5 of them, an ed g7 was curving out of amravati loop towards mainline. The train had stopped Badnera and awes was nowhere to be seen, he came just before train got starter, we had a 2 min chat and it felt awesome that due to IRI a buddy that came driving in the scorching sun 7 kms just to meet you, and ofcourse to catch the train :p.
Our train started where a fellow fell down from running train on Badnera platform from B3 coach just because he was trying to catch it, thankfully he fell on platform and had some minor scratches, the train stopped and he boarded again, the Legendary Gitanjali crossed her AC sibling(12859 and 02860) and i came inside. The average speed was 68, i had kept a GPS speedo on to track and found out to be 68kmph post Ajni. It was 2.5hrs late and i calculated what connections i can get if train reached with same delay
Special trains in Indian railways are not meant to be trust, they are relentlessly trolled by controllers and regular trains of the route, still tables turned in the next part and also how i got an unexpected connection............

Short Report:
"I

was very nervous because indeed i took a very big risk from my side, i was about to loose my connection to Nagpur"
Another fine day when i was about to return to Nagpur i searched up trains on NTES and found that only Pawan express was running on time and ASR LTT running late by 03:45 hrs and 11016 Kushinagar by 2:52 hrs, NTES predicted ASR LTT will arrive Burhanpur at 21:15hrs which i assumed to be safe considering my connection Sewagram express that had 22:15 arrival at BSL (takes 40 mins by other trains and 1 hr by ASR LTT), it further got trolled in WCR and became 03:45 hrs late and arrival and now it became risky.
I reached station at 21:00hrs and found that no announcement was done. at 21:10 announcement started and LEDs of coach display board started displaying coach details. But it didn't arrived before 21:40, i saw a mid mounted lamp and came to know that P7 was the link found the road number to be 30207. I boarded my coach and heard a soft honk followed by a Jolt, my train had started moving.
Actually ASR LTT took 1:10hrs in my last journey because it has 3 halts between Burhanpur and Bhusawal so i felt that soon i was going to loose my connection and scratched my head for next available option.
My train took a real good start and was flying at MPS soon i started my app on my WP to track speed and found out that LP was overspeeding, in my previous experiences reading didn't go quite above 111-112 but today was a different and much aggressive run the app showed 115-116 reading constantly for 10 mins, in 15 mins my train had reached its first halt at raver, we passed a BCNA frieght here. Platform in Raver is on mainline so WAP7 showed its true colours and again it started to accelerate madly. Again the speed reached to be 116km/hr and in 10 mins we were at our next halt at savda, my train got into PF loopline here i saw a milk frieght with 10 can cars and one GS coach at rear at flat 110km/h the chugging was heard for a long time and after a brief halt of 2 mins we again started moving. Again readings clocked to 114-115km/h and soon we were at our last halt before destination, at Nimbhora. We started after a very brief halt of 1 min and train went haywire from here constantly 113-4 km/h for 10 kms and crossed the Tapti River bridge at 110km/h els trip shed flew beside us and train only had slowed down when we were about to curve into PF1 at BSL. We made it to Bhusawal by 22:20 only in 40 mins which was mind blowing considering the 3 halts.
Thanks for your generosity for reading my long report of a short leg journey :)
Indeed the question is that are LPs are allowed to overspeed to cover the time lost by trains??
