Have tried my hand in drafting this Time Table for suggestion to CR/IR/RB from my end. Need your comments.

Given the introduction of 22229/30 Vande Bharat Express between Mumbai and Goa, I felt that existing Tejas Express is being given absurd TT and people will refer Tejas Express as a last option.

if the Tejas Express is run between Pune and Madgaon on a Triweekly basis, it will not only garner required patronage but also act as a regular connector between Pune and Madgaon.

Monsoon season and schedules are over by Oct and Tourist season and normal timings are implemented from NOV 1st. I have done the occupancy analysis in Mumbai Madgaon section.

1. Vande Bharat with ACC capacity of 470 and Tejas with 860 are fully occupied and the combined WL is 90-120.

also in WL unlike Monsoon season where Tejas used to have current availability of 300-500.
3 . So a 16 coach VB alone is not sufficient to cater to demand and the combined occupation in ACC is 1330 with WL 100+ against 1000 seats
4. How long the tourist season will be in Goa? may be from Nov to Feb 4 months as March to May are humid and summer in western coast.
5. As per the above study the 8 coach should be replaced by 16 coach Vande Bharat throughout the year and Tejas withdrawn an 8 coach should be run from Nov to Feb for 4 months to cater to tourist season.

i think .. Pune should demand a separate fast VB to ADI and MAO ! for starters 8 coach VB would be good.
after ADI .. it shoul demand a VB to NGP , INDB and SC too..

Anyways it has to cross the ghat section between LNL and KJT, what if it was operated in push pull configuration and it can come straight to panvel and proceed (since it will have reversal), and distance and time taken may become less. anyways for mumbai there are both JS and vande bharat, y not this dedicated for PUNE and LNL?
