The situation has also affected the number of daily passengers at Kurukshetra Railway Station, which usually sees around 11,500 passengers. Passengers, like Liaqat, are facing delays and difficulties due to cancellations and diversions. The canceled trains include 12459/12460 New Delhi-Amritsar Express, 12497/12498 Shan-e-Punjab, 12057/12058 Janshatabdi Express, 14507/14508 Fazilka Intercity Express, 14033/14034 Jammu Mail Express, 22429/22430 Delhi-Pathankot Express, and 12498 Shan-e-Punjab. The diverted trains include 12919/12920 Malwa Express, 11057/11058 Amritsar Express, 11077/11078 Jhelum Express.

Punjab ki border pe bhi railway line pe nazar rakhi jaa rahi hai. Kyonki yeh dharna indefinite hai, toh yaatriyon ko bohot dikkat ho rahi hai. Bahut saare log apne bachchon aur auraton ke saath ghanto station pe baithe rahe. Isse railway ko bhi bohot loss ho raha hai. Pichhle do din mein railway ne 5 lakh rupee ka refund diya hai. Isme unreserved tickets ke 2 lakh rupee aur reserved tickets ke 3 lakh rupee include hain. Kisan aandolan ki wajah se, yaatriyon ko trains ki jaankari nahin mil rahi thi. Kaafi saari aur trains ko bhi beech mein rok kar fir se chalaaya gaya hai. Isme Train No. 12904 (Nizamuddin), 14662 (Delhi), 12716 (Ambala), 14736 (Bathinda), 14525 (Bathinda), 15212 (Janseva), 14815 (Ambala), aur 04502 (Una Himachal-Haridwar Express) bhi include hain.
