The trials focused on the newly built 7.5 km section between Joba and Madwasgram on the Katni-Singrauli doubling project on Monday. The trials also assessed the electrification works on both new tracks. The third line between Katni and Bina will ease congestion and improve passenger transport by providing space for freight trains. The doubling of the Katni-Singrauli line will enhance rail connectivity from Jabalpur to Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Bengal via Choupan. In addition, the 'Shaktipuj Express' (train number 11447-48) running between Jabalpur and Howrah has been permanently augmented with an extra sleeper coach, increasing the number of sleeper coaches to seven, starting on Wednesday. This additional coach will provide more reserved seats for passengers.

The meeting highlighted the ongoing development work in the division, including the Amrit Bharat Station scheme, which will upgrade 53 stations across WCR, including 15 in the Jabalpur division. The initiative includes major upgrades to Jabalpur and Satna stations. Additionally, a 'One Station, One Product' scheme was introduced to promote local goods, and 'Prime Minister Bharatiya Janaushadhi Kendra' centers were opened at Madan Mahal, Bina, and Sawai Madhopur stations for providing affordable and generic medicines. MPs provided suggestions, including completing infrastructure projects on time, a stopover for the overnight express between Jabalpur and Indore at Shriram station, restarting halted trains, running passenger trains from Jabalpur to various destinations, and including Ghada, Gwari Ghat, and Bargi stations in WCR. Yea, all this meanwhile sirf SGRL BPL and SGRL NZM ka hi sunane me aata. SGRL INDB is crucial. The energy capital is still unconnected with the commercial capital.
SGRL should demand to get shifted to WCR. That might actually help. If SGRL would've been in WCR, at least the morning ICE could have become a reality.
