When 5 dedicated daily trains are running in MAQ TVC sector, and 4 dedicated daily trains to Chennai, SR does not run a single train in MAQ SBC sector
SR not permitting any other zone train trains via Puttur side or Konkan side to MAQ

16575/76 Gomteshwara Exp could be extended up to Karwar (effectively making it a daily along with 16515) or into Kerala with Loco reversal at MAQ

16159/60 MS MAQ Exp instead of being stabled at MAQ, could be assigned a 4th rake and its rake can be used for a new overnight service to Interior Karnataka (UBL or BAY) or as a Superfast upto Mumbai/Pune reducing the load on Netravati
