Can anyone help me with this situation? Anyone faced a similar problem and got it solved? Please let me know what I need to do for the following scenario.
My ticket went into RAC at the time of charting and I filed a TDR immediately after charting (within the time as per the TDR rules) and selected reason as "Passenger not travelled due to ticket in RAC after charting". Now CR has rejected my TDR saying that "As per chart, the passenger has travelled". which is incorrect as I travelled next day by booking tatkal. I have sent multiple mails to tdrprocess@irctc.co.in (email ID) but no response and their customer care number says invalid.

Is there something that I can do against TTE? any legal action? It is wrong from his side to not list my PNR as non-travelled.
Also it is not written anywhere that the passenger not travelling has to visit railway station and talk to TTE to get his name listed as non-travelled PNR.

file RTI and ask for chart,, send your traveled tkt (copy) and your RAC tkt to IRCTC NDLS
from where to where u traveled. ?

I just told you what might have happened and there might also be some error during TDR process. We cant take any action against TTE without confirmation about fault from his side. You might as well write a letter or e-mail to the divisional manager explaining the situation.
Finally I have got the TDR refund from Railways.
My pgportal grievance was looked upon by Central Railways and they rejected my claim again saying Passenger had travelled. But I sent a mail to an email ID mentioned in my pgportal grievance (with proofs regarding my travel on next day via tatkal ticket) and then there was some action taken and I have finally received a full refund (minus clerkage and irctc service charges) on my account.
