I have a General Question...
Its Regarding Mumbai-New Delhi Main Line...
Why was Route via Ratlam-Kota was Given Superiority Over Ahmedabad-Jaipur Route...???
When We Evaluate...
1. Route via Jaipur, Would have Given Access to
...
More Number of Important Stations like Ajmer, Ahmedabad, Gurgaon... As Against Ratlam Route Just Giving Kota, Mathura Even those Aren't that Big Cities...
2. Terrain of both the Routes are Almost Same...
3. Distance from Mumbai Central to New Delhi via ADI-JP is 1425, while That of RTM-KOTA is 1384 Kms...
So,Except for Distance nothing Goes in the Favor of RTM-KOTA Route... then Why is it More Preferential...???

Why calculations not required how come u arrived with 100 rs here. You are wrong with short cut route the fare will reduce it wont increase. Another factor is time saving which u cannot get with any money.

Alright, let me clear your doubts w.r.t both the points and leave the rest to your understanding !!! I wish someone else could participate here as we both are trying to find supremacy over the debate.
Now, say for suppose, the new line from RJY-BPQ(strictly imagination) has been laid by PPP and thus UDF has to be served by the IR to the concerned party.
If I travel(don travel) then the UDF has to be paid for all the years till the table profit or break even is Obtained. If you ask me
...

the proof, I cannot give as the MoU's are never released. So, IR is taking money from the SO CALLED TAX PAYERS whether that TAX PAYER travels in that route or not.
But, on the other hand, IF fares are increased, then If I DONT travel in Railways, then the increased fare would not show any effect on me ..
No statistics avbl but still it is lesser than the release day ticket of any multiplex.
I don't use the Shamshabad Intl Airport or the Delhi Metro, but still I am paying for that. This is the clever way to implement the PPP. Stabs one's back by giving anesthesia.
The best example is the Kurmanampalem Toll gate which is supposed to be run for 10 years and has been extended for another 15 years. Don't you think that they are MINTING money !!!!
I hope you understand this NOW !!

Re# 235322-49

Some twisting explanation but actually its not correct. The TAX PAYERS money will go to all infra projects whether its PPP mode or public mode. So there is no relation.
Any ways Shamshabad airport is world class felicities with huge investment so u have to pay more for that,
But these tracks are relatively very less investment so very less UDF is enough
...

and railways used by more people so we cannot compare with airports here.
So if these short cuts laid the fare will reduce than getting increased.
