This train should be diverted via Dhupguri-Falakata so that it can run e2e with Electric loco
Seeing progress of NJP-JPE-pundibari-NCB-NOQ electricfication, the line will be electricfied within 5 months maximum
While NJP-NCB VIA MATHABANGA IS NOT EVEN SANCTIONED FOR DOUBLING AND ELECTRICFICATION
I think train that were diverted via mathabanga should be given halt at mathabanga

Mathabanga don't add more passengers to padatik
Mostly bank employees use that train to go their home i.e, Kolkata BI-WEEKLY

Literally it can't be true. Abhi tak atleast 40 times travel ho chuka ha bhai mera us route se. Itna kam hota hi nhi ha us route ma. Even corona pandemic ma bhi 30-35 pass mil raha hain on an avg, although kavi kavi wo no 20s ma jaa raha ha abhi. But normal season ma ye no aur bhi jyada rahata ha, specially GS passengers ka

Ap NCB se ho ya nahi ho us se mujhe kuch lena dena nahi hain. Ap jo bhi bataye ho ajkal to ye sab info google maps pe hi available rahata ha, koi bhi dekh k bol sakta ha.

No need to divert,this train was introduced for giving dedicated service to the people of Changrabandha, Jalpaiguri and Mathabhanga Region. As far as Electrification is concerned, it'll surely be done by APDJ Div after the mainline is electrified. It's not mandatory to send it with an Electric Loco End to end by hook or crook if it starts to get it partially. BTW this train is the first priority for Kolkata Siliguri Connectivity now, overtaking Darjeeling Mail, And most of the passengers of this train deboard at NJP.MHBA,JPE provides Traffic between NJP NCB,and many use this train to go to Kolkata.

Even connectivity also matters. Mathabhanga and Mekhliganj aubdivision are also located in Bengal and they also need to travel till Kolkata which is their state capital. This train was extended in this route for serving these two subdivisions. Moreover the Dhupguri route also doesn't jave important city ot town between Jalpaiguri Road and New Cooch Behar
As I said in my previous comment, the arrangement of trains from cities of North Bengal to Kolkata is just perfect and there isin't any need to alter it
